About Richmond's Public Recreation

The Richmond Parks Department maintains three parks: George Park, Crawford Park, and Clay Park. The largest of these is Georg Park, which includes 10 baseball fields, 4 softball fields, 12 soccer fields, 1 football field, 2 sand volleyball pits, picnic tables, a pavilion, and a jogging/walking trail. This large park is dedicated to residents and operates all year. The other two parks, Crawford Park and Clay Park, are traditional parks consisting of a playground, open areas, and picnic tables. The YMCA hosts the only public pool in Richmond. They offer swimming lessons and exercise classes.
